SAY IT, LIVE IT, BE IT

What we say to ourselves out loud or in our mind, define the reality that we live.

Given that the words we use create the world we will live in here are some things to start doing right away. Start your day by saying positive affirmations out loud and sneak them in as you can throughout the day. Keep focused on your goals by looking at every new situation and asking yourself how you can use it to move closer to your goal. Lastly accept setbacks as a normal condition of working towards a goal and focus on solutions, not what went wrong.

The world you want starts with the next words you say.

You life will go smoother if you practice the “Art Of Allowing”.

The “Art Of Allowing” means to allow other people and things to exist as they are while allowing the things you are focused on to come into your life.

If we concentrate more on what we want and less on what is outside you range of control we will move ahead much faster. It is difficult to turn down our focus on things that annoy us or are different than what we want in the world as a whole. However, to the extent that we can do this, we will find more of the things we want will come to us. Our energy is focused on what we want and less diluted by other things.

What can you turn down the volume on right now?

Six ways to be nicer to yourself today.

Stop taking the joy out of your life and start giving yourself some well deserved credit by using these techniques.

Take the spotlight off of the negative things in your life and do the things listed below then watch how life improves for you.

1. Start each day with some positive affirmations about yourself. Even if you don’t believe them at first, they will pull your opinion of yourself up.

2. Say “No” a lot. Stop being available to everybody for everything. Get your life back by gaining control of your schedule.

3. Meditate. A new calmness awaits you if you take a few minutes for this.

4. Exercise. It doesn’t have to be a major do, just start.

5. Talk to yourself like a friend. Stop beating yourself up all the time and be kind to yourself.

6. Write down your accomplishments at the end of the day. This gives you a positive feeling and helps you do more the next day.

So pick one of these things to do right now and start, I promise you will be happy with the outcome.

Your current feelings are based on your previous thoughts, be they good or bad.

The enjoyable place in your mind is temporary, or the uncomfortable place in your mind may be standing is temporary. Your now reality is only a temporary, momentary culmination of what you’ve been thinking about. What you think about translates into your reality

What to do when positive thinking does not work.

Positive thinking works most of the time, but not all of the time. Here is what to do when it does not.

If you have given positive thinking your all and you still are in the pits, you need to refocus your efforts into a related area. Think your positive thoughts, acknowledge that they did not kick in yet and then say “Yes But”. Then you list some things you really know you are good at. Even if you do not consider them important, naming these other things help you pick up a positive feeling.

So what else are you good at?

You create what you expect.

Your expectations will turn into reality.

Strange as it sounds if you really expect things to happen your whole self is set into motion to make it happen. And it will. You may not be able to feel it working but a tremendous amount of stuff goes on once we form an expectation. One after another, things start to fall into place. If you hold your expectation and watch it unfold you will be truly amazed.

Don’t just do visualizations, trust them.

Your visualizations will be even more powerful is you stop holding them back by not trusting them fully.

Sure you are going through the motions of doing visualizations. You do affirmations, you have a vision board, and you talk up your goals. But at some level you don’t really trust them. You are waiting for the results before you really will believe it. At some level this lack of full faith in the visualizations take some of their effectiveness away. So things take longer to appear in your life and you are robbing yourself of the rewards achieving your goals will bring.

Take that leap of faith and fully believe you visualization will come true, your goals are waiting for you.

Use affirmations to lock up your goals.

Affirmations are the one step many people leave out of the goal achievement plan.
Affirmations are positive statements describing how you want to be in the future, but stated, as they are true right now. They are most powerful if you say or write them at the beginning and end of your day. Affirmations should reflect your highest priority goals. When you first begin to use them, you may feel silly or uncomfortable, as they are not yet true at that point. I urge you to hang in there, as they will become more natural as you use them. They are an incredibly effective way to reinforce your goals and should always be part of your goal achievement strategy.

Add affirmations to you daily routine and watch your achievements grow.
