One Minute Motivator # 378

Talent isn’t enough for success.

Talent keeps you frozen where you are, improvement is the key to success.

Talent is great to have, no question about it. But transforming it into ability and then constantly improving on it little by little is where greatness is found. Having talent is seductive. It is easy to stay where you are and be good. Moving beyond that requires real work and it is hard to justify when you are good already.

So that is the big question. If you have talent, do you have what it takes to have ability?

Success is not a part time job.

Strive for consistent movement towards your goals.

I am not expecting major breakthroughs on a regular basis, but I do expect you to take some action towards your goals every day. These do not have to be massive actions, baby steps are fine. In fact baby steps are better at keeping you motivated in the long run. Every day look at your goals then look at what is going on in the world today and then take some action however small towards your goal.

Ready to take a step towards your goals?
