Be careful about who you pretend to be.

You could become exactly who you want to be or it could be a disaster.

We usually end up being who we pretend to be and that could be good or bad. If you are using the “act as if” principle to fake it until you make it and are aiming at a good cause, it will work. It is powerful stuff, so if you are copying a bad image, you will become a very bad thing.

Every day is a costume party, who are you going to be today?

Start a habits group if you want to make real progress.

Good habits lead to good outcomes and a habits group can make it happen.

Replacing bad habits with good habits is a proven method of moving your life ahead. But many people have trouble doing this. Forming a group of two or more people to meet in person or via phone to share your objectives and progress is one way to get your habits seated. The group holds you accountable and focuses your attention on what you need to do.

Pick a habit you want to start and then pick up the phone to call a friend to share it with.

Become an extremist.

Make yourself into a person that obtains success beyond any norm.

You can’t be normal and achieve extraordinary results. You cannot have extreme productivity without taking extreme measures. Extreme productivity can only begin with a zero tolerance for unproductive activity. Being normal just isn’t going to cut it.

It is your choice today, be normal and get what you always have gotten or become an extremist and attain success.

“Power Posing” can help you gain success.

“Power Posing” is the act of assuming a position that gives you strength and self-confidence. Copying a “Wonder Woman” stance is an example of this that works for men or women.

Without going into all the reasons behind it, I can tell you “Power Posing” really works to give you a quick shot of self-confidence. It is a great technique to use when you a feeling down or lacking the courage to move forward on something. When you pretend to feel powerful, you are more apt to actually feel powerful.

Give the “Wonder Woman” stance a try right now and watch how you feel.

Two quick tips to help you feel happier and more confident.

Here are two ways “acting as if” can help you.

. We don’t have to feel happy to smile. But if we smile, we begin to feel happy.

. We don’t have to feel confident to stand up straight, but if we stand in a “power pose,” we may begin to feel more confident.

Give them a try, they really do work.
